I was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in Florence, Italy during the Fall semester of my junior year at Gonzaga. When I first started at GU, I never thought that I would study abroad because Washington is already away from home for me. After hearing so many great things about our program and from other students’ experiences, I couldn’t resist and took the leap – and I am forever grateful that I did!
Studying abroad brought me new friends, adventures, laughs, lessons, and a much deeper and greater appreciation for our world that I would have never otherwise had. Here is a quick glimpse into some of the places I got to visit throughout my time abroad brought to you by Ripl and through my Twitter page.
